About the role
We have experienced growth as a company and seek a dedicated and professionally like-minded person to join our team. We are currently seeking versatile and skilled individuals with experience in operating heavy machinery and construction labour tasks. As a Plant Operator/ All Rounder, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery, assisting with various construction tasks, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our projects. The position will be casual to start with however full time/ part time position will be considered for suitable candidates.
Key Selection Criteria
- Experienced Plant Operator, Excavator and Skid Steer, Truck driver. Good at grading and groundwork preparation, Ideal candidate is willing to do hand work and other manual labouring jobs when required.
- Hold a current Australian C class drivers license with HR, HC, or MC with a clean driving record.
- Hold a current valid construction white card.
- Have your own reliable transport.
- Proof of Australian working rights.
- Valid equipment operator certifications.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Operate a range of heavy equipment such as loaders, trucks, excavators, forklifts, compactor and skid steer.
- Operators to perform groundwork preparation works, box out, grading to design levels, detailed excavations.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance & troubleshooting.
- Manual labour including digging, lifting, carrying materials, general site upkeep and assisting in other skilled site works when required.
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times.
