Our national client provides a range of services in the Civil Construction and Pavement Maintenance Industry. Their specialised services are based on the operation of High Pressure Water Blasting, in the removal of bitumen on roads, rubber on runways and obsolete line markings and coatings. They operate a modern fleet of trucks and the latest equipment and technologies in this area.
Whilst much of the work occurs from their central depots, there is a significant amount of project work that can involve remote site work. This means you will need to be prepared to travel and spend periods of time away from home.
To successfully manage this role, you’ll require :
- Experience in the civil construction or mining sectors
- Ideally, an HR Licence, with a demonstrated background in driving/operating a heavy vehicle
- Working knowledge of workplace health and safety protocols.
- Reasonable level of health and fitness
- A Construction Industry Safety Card, although not essential, will be highly regarded
- Any other related VOCs will be viewed favourably
