ABOUT THE ROLE

The Plant Operator plays a vital role in the operations and maintenance of our chemical manufacturing plant. The role is responsible for monitoring equipment and controlling processes, Therefore, the position requires a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong aptitude for technical tasks and being able to work within a collaborative team environment to ensure the smooth and efficient production of chemicals while adhering to stringent quality and safety standards is part of your daily routine.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment to ensure safe and efficient production.
  • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and adhere to all safety processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of production data and equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth production process.
  • Participate in safety training and actively contribute to our safety culture.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and provide recommendations.
  • Commitment to quality and productivity.
  • Monitoring and controlling plant process.
  • Assist with maintenance work.

IDEALLY, YOU WILL BRING

  • A passion for chemical operations.
  • The physical agility and fitness to effectively carry out tasks.
  • Previous experience in a chemical plant or manufacturing environment (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
  • Full working rights to work in Australia.
