Key Responsibilities:
π Operate and maintain various plant and machinery, including loaders, excavators, rollers, trucks and other equipment.
π Assist with general maintenance tasks such as sign maintenance, bitumen and gravel road repairs, plant and landscaping.
π· Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
What Weβre Looking For
- Experience in the operation of plant, including trucks, primarily used in road and infrastructure construction and maintenance.
- Minimum HC class driverβs license (MC preferred)
- Knowledge of civil engineering works and projects and streetscape and parks maintenance activities.
- Understanding of work health and safety principles and how to effectively operate plant and machinery in a safe manner.
Benefits of Working at the Shire
This position is permanent full-time and offers a salary range of $79,623 per annum.
Other benefits may include:
