About the Position
Our Herons Creek team has been growing, we are currently seeking people with a can-do attitude and strong work ethics to join our team. If you enjoy problem solving, and working across different equipment and machinery we are interested in talking to you.
We are seeking casual and full-time Plant Operators to join our team based at our Herons Creek mill site, where you will be involved with a range of duties from warehousing to machine operation.
This is a day shift position with available between Monday to Friday
Key responsibilities include:
- Plant operations
- Sawing and stacking timber
- Sorting and strapping timber
- Inventory management
- Keeping work area clean
- General timber mill duties
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Have a positive attitude, be both reliable and punctual
- Physically fit to manually handle various size timber sections
- Previous experience with manual handling work
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
