Plant Operator

Synaco has partnered with a nation wide industry leading waste management company. Due to continued success they are seeking a Plant Operator to assist in their transfer station located in Erskine Park

What's in it for you?

• Tenure: 3 months with view to permanent
• Days & Hours: 7am-3pm
• Pay rate: $38.79p.h

Duties:

• Pre start plant and equipment checks
• Operate heavy industrial moving equipment in accordance with company procedures
• Clean and maintain designated work areas.
• Assist customers by directing them to the relevant areas to dispose of waste
• Prepare plant and machinery work areas and assist operators as required
• Assist in other areas of site as required
• Traffic control as required

Ideal candidate:

• Good work ethic, understand importance of turning up to work
• Experience using heavy earth moving equipment – Front Loaders, Excavators, Material Handlers (essential) 
• Mechanical Aptitude
• Ability to complete repetitive, mundane tasks
• Commitment to safety
• Self-motivated
• Sound communication skills
