Form of workElecnor has been contracted to build EnergyConnect, a new 700km transmission line extending from Wagga Wagga NSW to the South Australian border.
This backbone infrastructure will connect customers with more renewable energy enabling a further 4950MW of generation capacity, save NSW customers $180 million a year and create 1,500 new construction jobs in regional NSW.
The Role:
Elecnor has a highly rewarding opportunity for Plant Operators and labourers to join our OHTL team in Lockhart, NSW.
As a plant operator you will play a critical role in delivering the largest transmission line project in Australia! Work will include tower earthing installations, site clean up and other general hands on tasks.
This is a full time permanent fixed term contract until the end of 2025, working 10 hour days Monday - Saturday.
What you will need for this role:
- Current White card
- HR Driving license at minimum
- Excavator, Skid Steer, Bobcat and Backhoe licenses
- 5+ years experience operating
- Full Australian work rights
- Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing
