About the opportunity
We're on the lookout for a Plant Yard Coordinator to join our team in St Mary’s. Whether you're an experienced Plant Coordinator or someone looking to switch careers, we're open to training the right individual!
We have an exciting opportunity for a Plant Yard Coordinator to join our Plant team to ensure our plant, equipment and yard is properly maintained. Your responsibilities will include;
- Coordination of plant and equipment servicing, repairs, breakdowns, calibrations and inspections.
- Carrying out minor repairs and servicing.
- Dispatch and receiving of hire equipment, conduct pre- and post-hire inspections and arranging rectification works as required.
- Facilitation of the movement of plant and equipment to and between sites to ensure delivery as requested and within the allocated time frames.
- Maintaining records, data entry and updating internal systems.
- Loading and unloading trucks, cleaning, and preparing equipment for hire, stocktake and storing materials.
- Ensuring the yard area is kept clean and is well maintained.
Hours are 7.00 am to 4.00 pm Monday to Friday.
What you’ll bring to the team
- A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of tools and equipment.
- Current C Drivers Licence
- Intermediate computer skills and literacy.
- Industry Construction Card or willing to obtain.
- First Aid Certificate (advantageous but not essential)
- HR Licence (advantageous but not essential)
- High Risk Licence – LF (advantageous but not essential)
- High Risk Licence - DG Dogging (advantageous but not essential)
- Any other Plant tickets or competencies (advantageous but not essential)
