About the role:
In the role of Yard Coordinator/Truck Driver, your core responsibilities revolve around the detailed cleaning and preparation of plant and equipment, ensuring they are in top condition for hire. You play a pivotal role in coordinating yard operations to guarantee seamless processes. Collaborating closely with management, you ensure everything is aligned to tight schedules, machines are prepared for hire, and client expectations are consistently met. Holding an MR or HR license, and having prior experience in transport, you'll also handle the delivery of plant and equipment to clients, adding an extra layer of value to our service.
Role responsibilities:
• Washing/cleaning plant and equipment to the highest standard, ready for hire.
• Understand hire schedules and planned maintenance tasks, prioritising based on upcoming hires and returns.
• Manage daily coordination of hire equipment and accessories, ensuring efficient storage, accessibility, and monitoring/reporting of any damages or required repairs.
• Maintain efficient communication with management, address operational concerns, and ensure high-quality interactions with stakeholders, representing the brand effectively.
• Safely deliver equipment to clients, maintaining professionalism and meeting client expectations.
• Communicate professionally upon delivery, fostering strong client relationships and upholding service excellence.
• Manage time effectively to ensure equipment is ready and on-time for collection and/or delivery, meeting client needs.
• Ensure adherence to OH&S policies and procedures, promote safety and prevent injuries for yourself and others on site.
About you:
• Unrestricted MR or HR license
• Previous experience in truck driving (desirable)
• Experience within a similar operational or coordinator role would be advantageous
• Excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, great organisation and time management
• Available to work Mon-Fri 7am-4pm
