We operate within established residential and commercial buildings, with scopes across waterproofing, membrane systems, pool and podium refurbishment, building re-paints, concrete spalling repairs, plastering and render repairs, joint and crack repairs, lintel replacements, window replacement, roof replacement and balustrade replacements.
About the Role
BOSS is seeking a Highly skilled, reliable Plasterer required for building rectification/remedial works based on the Sunshine Coast. This is a Full Time Position for someone with minimum 2 years’ experience.
Position Requirements
- Construction trade experience
- Construction White Card
- Height Works Certificate > Working at Heights /Swing Stage /EWP
- General knowledge in Building and Construction industry
- General knowledge in Workplace Health and Safety legislation
- High level of quality and attention to detail.
* Qualifications that will be highly regarded are:
- Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety
- Plastering Drywall QBCC Licence
Responsibilities
- Ability to perform preparation and cleaning of surfaces before plastering.
- Mix plaster materials, such as cement, sand, lime, and water, following specific ratios and instructions.
- Observe and participate in applying solid plaster and render to various surfaces, such as walls, ceilings, and facades.
- Have an understanding of different plastering techniques and finishes, including troweling, floating, and texturing.
- Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of plastering tools and equipment.
- Be able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications related to plastering work.
