About the Role:
We are currently seeking a motivated individual seeking to commence their career in construction as an Apprentice Plasterer. As an apprentice plasterer, you'll embark on a rewarding journey to develop the skills and knowledge essential for a successful career in the booming construction industry. Working closely with plasterers, gyprockers, carpenters and other apprentices and on site tradespeople. You'll receive hands-on training and mentorship to master various aspects of the trade.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE
- Assist in preparing surfaces for plastering, including cleaning, sanding, and applying bonding agents.
- Learn to mix and apply plaster materials accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in applying plaster coats to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces.
- Learn techniques for achieving smooth finishes and decorative effects.
- Maintaining a clean work environment.
ABOUT YOU
- A strong work ethic and eagerness to learn and grow.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions closely.
- Basic knowledge or interest in construction tools and materials. (prior experience or vocational training is advantageous but not mandatory).
- Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.

APPRENTICESHIP INFORMATION
During the duration of the apprenticeship is (48-months) you will be working full-time (38 hours per week), Monday to Friday with the option of overtime.
You and will attend training one day per week for three years, where you will learn theory and practical areas within the trade to gain a Certificate III and be a qualified tradesperson at the completion of your apprenticeship.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or New Zealand Citizen
- Not have any previous qualifications exceeding a Certificate III in Wall Linings or Solid Plaster
- Drivers License and Vehicle
