Your New Role:

Reporting to the IT Director, your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing the Platforms & Security Operations team (1 direct report) which includes core IT capabilities covering infrastructure, cloud, networks, end user compute, cyber security, and identity;
• Overseeing service delivery processes, ensuring effective and efficient IT operations and services are delivered across Landcom in line with any agreed SLAs and business expectations;
• Developing, maintaining and executing strategies, roadmaps and plans to transform and modernise the core IT capabilities and cyber security of Landcom, including the broad adoption of cloud-based capabilities;
• Managing Landcom’s end-to-end cyber security capability across strategy development and day-to-day Security Operations, including reporting;
• Assessing and embedding new and maturing operational and cyber technology capabilities to ensure continued value realisation and coverage for Landcom;
• Ensuring Landcom’s IT assets have robust lifecycle management plans in place that maintain the currency, security, performance and support of core infrastructure and end user devices;
• Providing IT security advice to the Senior Leadership team and business stakeholders;
• Defining and implementing a set of IT security controls, processes and tools to protect the integrity of Landcom’s operations, customer information and underpinning systems and data;
• Ensuring Landcom’s IT operations and cyber security comply with relevant Australian Government regulations and standards;
• Deploying and maintaining a Security Operations centre capability to monitor, prevent, detect, investigate and respond to cyber threats and incidents;
• Defining, implementing and maintaining a cyber security assurance framework to address 3rd party risk; and
• Leading Landcom’s Technology Change Advisory Board (CAB) activities (co-chair).

Your Skills & Experience:

Ideally you’ll have:

• Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar IT Management role leading Infrastructure, Platforms and Cyber security;
• Strong experience managing end to end Azure platforms and infrastructure;
• Extensive experience in IT platforms project delivery;
• Demonstrated experience implementing and operating ITIL frameworks, particularly Incident, Problem, Change and Release;
• Commercial experience in IT procurement, sourcing, licensing and vendor management;
• Extensive experience in overseeing the direction, development and implementation of IT platforms and solutions, architecture and strategy;
• Hand on experience in assessing risk and implementing IT security frameworks and controls (NIST, ASD8, ISO27001);
• Strong vendor management and governance skills;
• You will have excellent stakeholder engagement skills and will be a natural influencer and relationship builder at executive level;
• You will be results orientated and collaborative with a strong orientation to outstanding service; and
• Above all else, you will have a friendly, positive attitude with strong presentation and facilitation skills.
