Role Overview:
The Operations Manager ensures client satisfaction by exceeding customer needs and managing service operations and training. Responsibilities include coordinating supplier management, compliance, operations meetings, venue and site equipment, and training programs. The ideal candidate should have a hands-on approach, exceptional people skills, and a strong culture of collaboration and teamwork. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct security personnel
- Assist Security Managers in managing contractor performance
- Prepare and present operational reports to the General Manager
- Provide relief for security personnel to ensure seamless operations
- Lead a culture of Environmental & Safety performance
- Maintain and improve Quality awareness in Operations
- Roster personnel across sites to meet client needs
- Process changes to contract rosters and assess impacts and costs
- Communicate with management on contract exceptions, trends, and issues
- Review leave requests against roster requirements
- Develop and maintain strong business partnerships with suppliers
- Resolve resourcing issues collaboratively
- Be available 24/7 to respond to operational and client needs
Mandatory Requirements:
- NSW 1A Security Licence
- Current full NSW Driver’s License
- Flexible and available 24 x 7 to ensure the clients and business needs are met.
- Bachelor’s degree or certification in Business Administration, Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in Corporate and Hospitality security
- Proven client relationship management and customer satisfaction.
- Strong knowledge of security industry practices and compliance
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant industry software
- Experience in coordinating and presenting training modules
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
