Platform Engineer | Banking and Financial Services | 12-month Contract

This role is working for one of the top financial institutions in Australia and the candidate can be based out of Sydney or Brisbane.
Your new role
- You'll be working as a Data Bank Platform Engineer on a state-of-the-art financial services platform. You will be driving forward the delivery, engineering decisions and platform solution to align to the long term strategic architectural vision
- Ensure that platforms, systems and services are engineered to facilitate the achievement of service objectives, including resiliency and scalability.
- Identify, develop and lead the implantation of automation or optimisation opportunities, with a focus on cost, availability, and performance.
- Lead large scale implementation of platforms and services from inception through to production, maintaining quality documentation and procedures for the ongoing support of the platform.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have experience with:
- AWS ECS, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, S3, RDS, SQS, Lambda, CloudTrail, Route53, KMS, and IAM
- Jenkins (NEF Cluster), JobDSL, Groovy, Ansible, and boto3
- Terraform, Ansible
- Integration with Kong, Vanefi, Kafka, ServiceNow, IBM MQ, and DAF
- AWS, Docker, Ansible, Python and Jenkins
