Ngunga Group Women’s Aboriginal Corporation have been operating in the Derby Region for over 38 years. Ngunga began in the early 1980s with Ngunga Designs – a silk screen printing program. Although the arts program is no longer a part of Ngunga, we have grown, acquiring government-funded programs to deliver and support Indigenous and local families. Over the years Ngunga Group Women’s Aboriginal Corporation has responded to the needs of the community. We are a dynamic organization constantly changing and responding to the unmet needs of the local community. We operate a Mobile Playgroup, a Recycling Clothes Op Shop, and Financial Counselling Programs.
We are currently seeking to fill the position of Playgroup Coordinator.
The Playgroup Coordinator reports to the Manager – Programs & Contracts and will lead the delivery of the playgroups (including MPG) and the management of the Playgroup Educators. Duties include ensure all playgroup activities are compliant with the funding agreement and child safe principles. Complete all reporting requirements. Collaborate with the other program coordinators to identify, plan, and deliver coordinated community/program events. Ensure all Playgroup Educators are appropriately supported and developed.
Job Requirements: The successful applicant must submit the following documentation, or able to obtain within timeframe: National Police Clearance, Working with Children’s Check, Current Drivers Licence (desirable).
