Children’s Medical Research Institute (CMRI) was Australia’s first dedicated paediatric research facility and is now one of the world’s most highly regarded independent medical research organisations. Our research focuses on the four key areas impacting children’s health: cancer, genomics and genetic diseases, neurobiology, and embryology.
We are looking for a PLT student with an interest in the health, biomedical science, bioinformatics, or the medical research sector to support our legal team to:
- Develop legal templates
- Review commercial contracts
- Build, implement and train on key legal risk areas such as ESG, privacy law, data governance and modern slavery
The student would be supported by the wider legal team to learn, develop, and grow in a safe and collaborative environment.

- An interest in building, training and presenting compliance processes and policies in accordance with relevant legislation
To be considered you must:
- Be able to start within the month
- Be based in Sydney as you will required to work in the office in Westmead a min of 2 days per week
