- Manual Drivers’ license is mandatory whilst MR / HR and Forklift Licenses are all desirable
- QLD Plumbing License
- Full QLD gas licence (not provisional)
- Waste water treatment experience

About your role:
Cater Care Services is seeks to appoint 1 Full Time, Qualified Plumber to join our remote mining village team in Cloncurry, Qld.
Roster:
Working 8 days ON and 6 days OFF 0600 – 1800. FIFO within Townsville or Cairns POH for the right candidates
Duties:
- Installation, repair and general maintenance of systems and components, fixtures and other plumbing used for water and sewer distribution
- STP & WTP maintenance/monitoring, and gas fitting, as per the contracted scope of work in the village and mine.
- Actively manage and meet deadlines and safety obligations
The Ideal Applicant Will Have:
- Previous experience within the fields activities relating to plumbing
- Experience in a hospitality environment or similar experience within a remote environment is highly regarded
- Ability to work well with other team members
- A commitment to genuine, friendly customer service
- A motivated, enthusiastic and positive ‘can-do’ attitude
- Ability to understand and comply with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physically fit and able to work long hours with repetitive tasks
- Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
- Ability to work in varying degrees of heat, cold, humidity & inclement weather
MANDATORY Requirements
- Current QLD Plumbing License
- Current Contractors License - highly regarded
- Full QLD Gas Licence (not provisional)
- Qualifications or experience in Water and Sewerage Plant Operation - highly regarded
- Backflow qualifications - highly regarded
- Manual Drivers’ License is essential whilst MR / HR and Forklift Licenses are all highly desirable.
