About the role
Your Role in this work:
Full time hours required.
We receive new vacant houses on a daily basis and generally they need to be started and completed within two weeks. Our office employs preferred Contractors for the various sub-trades such as cleaning, electrical, plumbing and pest control while handling all general carpentry and other small repair work with our own employees.
Typical work required includes: hot water system checks, tap repair and replacment, toilet system checks, gutter system checks.
You need to be able to use a mobile Work App to receive your job and scope of works and complete your times and any additional work required on the App. We use SimPro which also allows Purchases from Bunnings stores and other plumbing suppliers. We provide training on how to use this App and again, Team Leaders and our Office are always on call to assist.
We also service NDIS clients and regularly do bathroom fitouts and modifications.
You will be based out of Brisbane - servicing both northern and southern areas of Brisbane.
Ute and Fuel Provided
As most of our jobs are government maintenance workflow is steady and most jobs are small and easily completed.
We are looking to expand our Plumbing Capacity so will be looking for someone to bring in and we will engage in a generous Profit sharing agreement for this work. No Risk on your end - any work and profits made will be split accordingly - can easily double your wage if you're the right person.
Skills and experience
Maintenance experience will be looked on favourably.
Gas fitting Licence is essential.
Full Plumbing Trade Papers.
Full tool kit.
White card.
Ability to adhere to our WH&S management system including safe work method statements to ensure hazards are identified, managed and controlled.
Ability to perform work with care and exactness to requirements.
Excellent and willing communicator.
