We are looking for an experienced podiatrist to join our multi-disciplinary allied health team. The chosen applicant will work with us to provide high quality podiatry services to our elderly clientele. The part time role (0.2 FTW) will be based at our Residential Sites in Felixstow and Glenelg.
In the role you will:
- Provide high quality general footcare.
- Complete in-depth neurological and vascular assessments
- Provide education on footcare, diabetic footcare, footwear prescription and falls prevention strategies.
- Work with the residential sites clinical teams to ensure a holistic care approach.
- Engage in monthly multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Have the opportunity to be involved in our Beyond Carbon Neutral and Staff Wellbeing committee which spans across the organization.
About You
The successful candidate(s) will have:
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- A passion for working with older people.
- Experience working in the Aged Care environment (not essential for the right candidate)
- Full Drivers Licence
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail and good time management skills.
