This scheme recognises the role key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements, to attract and retain staff in these areas.
To recognise ongoing service in this role, once the successful candidate has served a qualifying period, they will become entitled to a reoccurring Annual Retention Bonus valued up to $10,000 (as taxable income).

What you'll be doing
The Podiatrist will be responsible for providing a quality specialised Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) High Risk Foot Service (HRFS) to a diverse and complex caseload involving clients with diabetes and High Risk feet

How to apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible.
- Tertiary health related qualifications in level 4 Podiatrist and registered to practice in Australia through regulatory board.
- A minimum of four years post-graduate experience in a broad range of clinical Podiatry services including acute and community based.
- Demonstrated knowledge in Podiatry disorders and a well-developed understanding of the concepts of chronic care and its application with people and communities.
- High level of expertise, knowledge and advanced reasoning and practice skills to meet the complexity of presenting conditions such as those with ulceration, infection, arthropathy and amputation.
- Strong demonstrated understanding of primary healthcare and stakeholder relationship management to build stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrated knowledge in project management, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
- Demonstrated ability to adhere to the defined standards of ethical and professional conduct consistent with the current NSW Health Code of Conduct and/or relevant professional standards where applicable.
- Evidence of a current class C driver’s license to travel for work purposes.
