Podiatrist - Senior

Engage with the hospital based multidisciplinary team for a varied and complex caseload of patients with foot disease primarily.

About the role

The person in the position will deliver independent high-level podiatric management for people accessing care in the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH) outpatient setting and consulting inpatients when referred by their treating teams. The role incumbent will provide clinical leadership to contribute to service development, quality activities and research.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

• Demonstrated high-level clinical evidence-based skill and knowledge in the field of high risk foot care with the ability to independently manage a clinical caseload and to act as a recognised reference point for other podiatrists in the team.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective, respectful working relationships and to foster open dialogue and collaboration within a team to enhance cooperative workplace interactions.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development, placing high priority on developing self and others to increase the knowledge base of the service.
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering safe and high-quality services with the ability to identify new opportunities and develop solutions to meet customer expectations and improve the patient journey.

• Demonstrated personal and professional accountability for individual practice and the monitoring of the team's quality outcomes.
