Access theAbout the roleThe purpose of this role is to engage with the hospital based multidisciplinary teams for a varied and complex caseload of patients with foot disease in an inpatient and outpatient setting. The person in the position will deliver independent high-level podiatric management for people accessing care at STARS. The role incumbent will provide clinical leadership to contribute to service development, quality activities and research.About youOur ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Clinical Expertise: Demonstrated high level of knowledge, skills and expertise in podiatry clinical
- Communication/Team participation: Demonstrated ability to communicate and participate effectively in the podiatry and interprofessional teams, including the ability to provide high level clinical advice to supervisors, key service managers and stakeholders and with an ability to address and manage conflict.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to provide supervision, training and support to less experienced practitioners and students.
- Quality improvement: Demonstrated ability to initiate, plan and evaluate local service improvement initiatives through continuous quality improvement or research projects, enhancing outcomes for patients.
