About Us

East Grampians Health Service is based in Ararat and Willaura (Regional Victoria) and takes its name from the magnificent mountain range that provides a backdrop to both townships. We are committed to providing quality care and services that meet the needs of the community, whilst continuously striving for improvement and aiming to lead the way in provision of health related services.

East Grampians Health Service aims to meet the needs of the community by offering a vast array of services based at the community health centre in Ararat. We offer outreach services to Willaura as well as the Bush Nursing Centres in Lake Bolac and Elmhurst. Our services include Dental, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy, Podiatry, Speech Pathology, Dietetics, Diabetes Education and Social Work. These services support other clinical areas including our acute and residential aged care patients. Our community health centre also serves the purpose of hosting speciality clinics such as consulting suites for our visiting surgeons, stromal and wound care nursing.

About the Role

This position provides opportunity to lead podiatry practice across multiple settings including Community, Inpatient, Urgent Care and Aged Care as well as participating in project and improvement activities. You will join other dedicated health professionals as a member of our multidisciplinary Community Services team, delivering a range of health services to people throughout the Ararat Rural City catchment.

About You
  • Bachelor of Applied Science (Podiatry) or equivalent
  • Registered with the Podiatry Board of Australia
  • Experience in providing supervision to staff and students

Appointment is subject to immunisation clearance (Including COVID-19) and current and satisfactory Employment Checks (Police, Working With Children Check and NDIS).
