At Port Lincoln Special School we provide quality education programs for students from Reception to Year 13, who have an intellectual disability. Some students may also have additional impairment – sensory, physical or autism. We are seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher to join our engaging and dynamic team.
This position is for a 1-1 teacher to work with a student with an intellectual disability and complex needs on a personalised SACE program including cross disciplinary studies, english, mathematics, health and wellbeing, creative arts and scientific studies. The teacher will be required to work collaboratively with student support services, SSOs, wellbeing leaders and external services to develop and implement a learning program that address the student's barriers to learning, functional needs and personalised One Child One Plan goals.
