Are you ready to drive change and make a meaningful impact on the environment of the ACT? The ACT Natural Resource Management team is looking for an energetic and well organised Project Officer to help deliver environmental outcomes across the ACT.
In this role you will work in a collaborative team and oversee multiple Biodiversity Projects to successful completion. Projects will be across multiple focus areas including threatened species, landscape re-naturalisation and ecosystem restoration. You'll engage proactively with multiple partners to deliver quality projects across Canberra.
Your skills in effective communication, administrative proficiency, and project management leadership will be key to your success. This is an exciting opportunity to utilise your skills and have a direct positive impact for the local environment.
Eligibility/ Other Requirements:
Highly desirable skills and experience:
- Experience applying the following skills: communications, administration, project management particularly in an environmental and/or agriculture field.
- Ability to work flexible hours as required to meet work needs including occasional weekend work.
- Current Australian driver’s licence.
Note: This is a temporary position available 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2026 with the possibility of permanency.
