The Nathan River Resources mine site is located 50km inland from the Gulf of Carpentaria and approximately 760km from Darwin, we are the proud owner and operator of the Roper Bar Iron Ore Mine. We take pride in our in-house mine, marine and trans-shipment division, which manages a fleet of mine and marine assets dedicated to our operations.
About this role:
As a result of the remarkable success of our initial operations, we have accelerated our phase 2 expansion plans. This growth has created a need for additional port and marine crew members. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join our Port and Marine team. You will be reporting to the Marine Superintendent.
Key responsibilities will be but not limited to:
· Previous experience with managing bulk loading teams.
· Detailed knowledge of conveyor and stacker systems
· Minimum 2 year in a supervisory position
· Experience in belt splicing
FIFO Roster Ex Darwin is 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off.
To be considered for a role it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following skills and experience:
o Mechanical Fitter background
o Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
o Willingness to work in challenging and remote environments.
