Our utilities client seeks an adept Portfolio Support Officer to join the digital Portfolio Support team, overseeing the implementation of ICT projects. The primary responsibility of this role is to furnish administrative and general support functions to Platform Managers and Project Managers, ensuring the successful achievement of project objectives.Responsibilities
- Provide support as required to key project personnel.
- Organise requirements gathering workshops and various project meetings including minute-taking and distribution.
- Oversee Project SharePoint sites and document repositories.
- Support the compilation of business, technical, and project documentation, including end user requirements.
- Contribute to the preparation of project status reports.
- Assist in the development, maintenance, monitoring, and reporting of schedules.
- Assist Project Managers in tracking project budgets, conducting financial reconciliations and processing supplier invoices.
- Cultivate and maintain effective relationships with internal and external clients/suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, procedures, and practices.
- Proven track record in supporting management, prioritizing tasks, and multitasking in a dynamic environment.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
- High-level comprehension of project management processes and methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to create and manage project-related documents, including financial documentation.
- Experience coordinating meetings, presentations, workshops, and information sessions both internally and externally within the Digital Office.
