About The Role
Our Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners provide collaborative supports in client's natural environments. We deliver practical solutions for improving the human rights and quality of life of the people receiving services and building the capacity of the formal and informal supports around them. Our Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners achieve this by working closely with clients and their support teams and will come to know them well.
Skills and experience
- Experience supporting people with a disability who may present with behaviours that challenge.
- Current Behaviour Support Practitioner Suitability Letter
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or eligibility to obtain)
- High level of interpersonal skills
- Excellent report writing skills
- Innovative and strategic approach to client service delivery and organisational improvement
- The ability to demonstrate and encourage teamwork
- Demonstrated knowledge, experience and understanding of the support needs of people with disability across home and community settings.
- Strength in building customer and stakeholder relationship
