What You Will Be Doing
The Post Graduate Nursing Program (Mental Health) is a supported contracted position that enables the staff member to gain additional Mental Health nursing skills and expertise whilst continuing to undertake post graduate studies. The post graduate program offers a range of rotations including community and residential settings to enable further understanding and experience within a range of care contexts outside of inpatient settings. The program offers further support from the education team, a range of specialist study days and paid study leave to dedicate towards completion of post graduate studies.>
What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
• Completed Graduate Program in Mental Health Nursing or Minimum 1 year of experience working in Mental Health Nursing
• Demonstrated commitment to completing the Post Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing or higher
• Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team engaging with consumers from a wide variety of cultures and backgrounds
• Must be available to work across all shifts
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering a high standard of person-centered care
• Motivated and self- directed learner

*Please refer to salary circular for VICTORIAN PUBLIC MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT 2021-2024 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
