About the Role
Our Graduate Registered Nurse Program is progressive, responsive and innovative. We use the latest evidence to develop our program study days together with regular feedback from our graduates.
We support and facilitate the development of a well prepared, high quality, safe nursing and midwifery workforce committed to improving health outcomes.
Note: this job advert is for Graduate Registered Nurses who are applying through the PMCV Allocation and Placement Service process (previously known as computer match).
We have four pathways for nursing graduates in 2025 including:
- General Nursing (12 months with 2 rotations)
- Pure Mental Health (12 months with 2 rotations)
- Blended Mental Health (6 months) and General Nursing (6 months)
- Collaborative program with Alexandra District Health (ADH) (6 months at Eastern Health and 6 months as ADH)

- 2 x Placement appraisals (also known as "Clinical Assessment Tools", "AMSAT", or "summative placement feedback").
- If you are applying for the Blended Program, please upload 1 x acute / sub-acute nursing appraisal AND 1 x Mental Health appraisal
