Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Post Placement Support Officer to join our team in Halls Creek, Western Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to job seekers to remain in employment to secure an outcome for them and their employer, and therefore enabling sustainable workforces.

Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive Post Placement Support to jobseekers and the employer they are placed with
- Provide guidance and support on workplace issues or challenges that may arise
- Collaborate with employers to ensure the smooth integration of clients into the workplace
- Maintain electronic tracking systems which as a minimum enable recording of risk strategies, and details of mentoring and/or Post Placement Support delivered to the job seeker or employer.
- Maintain a sound level of understanding of, and compliance with, contractual requirements including all guidelines and correspondence issued by DPMC; organisational Codes of Conduct and Policy and Procedure manuals.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Certificate IV in Employment Services (desired but not essential)
- Proven experience in delivering mentoring or advocacy in outcomes driven environments.
- Well developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to consult, negotiate and liaise effectively with a diverse range of people.
- Demonstratable strong computer skills inclusive of experience in maintaining a high level of detail and accuracy in records management.
Essential experience/Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with Indigenous Australians and organisations and a demonstrated understanding of the social, economic and environmental factors impacting on local (rural and remote) communities.
- A current C Class motor vehicle license.
- Ability to engage in regular travel (by road and air) inclusive of short stays away from home.
- Current National Police Check
