Our Mail and Parcel Processing Network at Australia Post is growing, and we’re on the lookout for agile and solutions focused Technicians to join our team of technical experts, performing maintenance activities on our brand-new state of the art equipment.
Ideally, we are looking for dual trades; or mechanical fitters and electricians (A-grade) with exposure to an industrial work environment and/or automation.
You'll be
- Working at our Adelaide Parcel Facility at the Adelaide Airport
- Ensuring safety is always foremost in all activities and ensure compliance with Australia Post Occupational Health and Safety Policies
- Performing maintenance activities on state-of-the-art equipment including corrective, predictive and preventative maintenance in consideration of operational requirements
- Working within a team-based environment with operations and other service groups to achieve high levels of reliability, performance and cost effectiveness
- Be able to work at heights from mobile platforms
About you
- You are an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- You have either:
- An A-Grade Electrical Licence
- A certificate 3 in Mechanical Trade or higher
- A background in Mechatronics advantageous
- You are resilient and able to adapt to high volume and pressure
- Are able to work at heights from mobile platforms
- Have exposure working alongside industrial automated systems
