The Position
This is a key role for motivated team undertaking independent research in the area of geochemistry and experimental petrology with a view to publishing original and innovative results in refereed journals, present research at academic seminars and at national and international conferences, and collaborate with other researchers at a national level. The research topic concerns the mineralogy and geology of the critical metal niobium in carbonatites.
The Postdoctoral Fellow will be a member of Research School of Earth Sciences (RSES). RSES is Australia’s leading academic research institution for Earth and Marine Sciences, and ranked 11th in the world for Earth and Marine Sciences (QS World University Rankings by Subject 2023). The Person
To excel in this role you will have a strong track record of independent research in the field of geochemistry and experimental petrology and ability to articulate and prosecute innovate research. Your ability to lead by example, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, will enable you to foster respectful and productive working relationships with staff, students and colleagues at all levels within RSES in line with the RSES Culture Statement.
