About the Role
Our Client is looking for flexible casual employees to join their Flock Services crew.
The ideal candidate would be available weekdays and also available to commit weekends when needed.
The role is based at Huntly, however involves travelling between multiple farms doing a range of duties from vaccination of birds, bird transfers, bird sorting / sexing, shed cleaning and other associated duties.
To be successful for the role you must be fit and healthy and be able to work on your feet all day, combined with the ability to meet quarantine standards such as not having any outside contact with any live birds, chooks or pigs and also following shower on procedure to shower on every morning.
Skills/ Experience
- Previous agriculture / farm experience is beneficial.
- Reliable and hard working attitude.
- Ability to communicate and work well in a team.
- Be fit and healthy (be able to work on your feet all day, and pass a medical screening).
- Meet Quarantine standards (no contact with live birds, chooks or pigs) + (follow shower on procedures).
- A current car license and own transportation.
- Be available to work shift work.
