Due to recent expansion and growth, several opportunities exist for experienced Plastic Mill Operators, possessing good interpersonal and communication skills and who can confidently work under minimal guidance, to join our business.
The Role
Successful applicants will be members of an efficient and productive manufacturing team that ensure outcomes are achieved in a timely and cost effective manner.
Candidates will need to demonstrate a solid plastics background in milling powders, compounding, masterbatch or recycling.
The opportunities relate to set shifts, across day, afternoon and night, working a standard 38 hour week.
Responsibilities Include:
- Ensuring adherence to Health & Safety standards
- Ensuring plant and machinery operates in accordance with procedural standards.
- Maintaining specified quality on all Manufactured product.
- Actively participating and assisting in the development and growth of the business.
- Ensuring plant and work areas are maintained to agreed standards.
The Individual:
- Must have a “can do” / flexible attitude.
- Can perform duties with a degree of engagement and urgency.
- Shares in the responsibility of the overall work site.
- Participates in relevant training, development, and skills progression.
- Possesses a Forklift License, or a willingness to obtain licensing with the assistance of the employer.
- Displays a commitment to process improvement with emphasis on waste reduction and output maximization.
