Key Responsibilities
- Participate in and conduct Power Quality, energy efficiency and energy management system audits
- Leverage your expertise to create insightful reports, identifying Power Quality issues and pragmatic solutions
- Present these reports to both commercial and technical stakeholders, effectively communicating complex information
- Engage with product engineers regarding detailed design and implementation of solutions including ongoing metering and measurement to validate solutions
- Oversee preparation and deployment of our industry leading portable meters and software solution globally
- Specify requirements for meter frameworks to meet the Australian and International Standard then work with the software engineers to enhance, test and validate the meter framework
- Manage Power Quality projects in line with our quality management process
- Engage in business development opportunities to identify, qualify and convert new project opportunities
What we seek:
- An accomplished Electrical Engineer (Masters or PhD degree preferred) with strong theoretical knowledge and analytical skills with the ability to translate this to real-world solutions
- A professional with at least 3-5 year’s experience in Power Quality, energy efficiency or energy management systems, working on industry-related research projects and/or developing commercial products and delivering consulting services
- Understanding of the Australian and International Standards in Power Quality and the design principle of Power Quality meters
- Strong report preparation and presentation skills, adept at tailoring communications for diverse audiences
- A collaborative mindset that thrives in a multidisciplinary team and fostering a quality-driven environment
- A proactive approach to business development, engaging in opportunity identification, quoting and project pitching to prospective customers
