About Assets and Operations
Our Assets and Operations team in the Mid North Coast has numerous roles that we are currently recruiting for;
- Powerline Workers at Taree (5), Kempsey, Bulahdelah and Stroud
- Cable Jointer at Taree
- Electrical Technician at Bulahdelah
- Electrical Workers (Plant Operator) at Taree (2), Kempsey and Bulahdelah
About the Mid North Coast
Situated 400 kms north of Sydney the Mid North Coast has it all - beaches, subtropical national parks and forests, as well as rural farmland. The area is known for its pristine waterways and beaches, stunning hinterland with rivers, streams and forests.
About Stroud
Stroud is located one hour north of Newcastle and is nestled in the beautiful Karuah valley. Stroud is preserved by the National Trust as the town was created in in the 1820s & 1830s as a company town for the Australian Agricultural Company and is filled with historic buildings.
If Stroud is not your preferred location, we are also recruiting for Powerline Workers at Kempsey, Taree and Bulahdelah.
About the role
As a Powerline Worker you will be responsible for the general construction, installation, connection, maintenance and repair of both high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) overhead and underground distribution network assets and equipment.
About you
You will have a collaborative approach and understand the importance of working side by side with colleagues and customers. You will positively contribute to the community and stakeholders and put safety at the forefront of everything you do.
Required qualifications
- Certificate III in ESI - Power Systems with electives in Distribution Overhead
- Driver's Licence
- WorkCover NSW Construction induction Certificate
- Evidence of attainment and maintenance of all regulatory, industry and business required licences, authorisations and other such certificates deemed necessary for the role
- Ability to work effectively during times of unplanned events
- Any participation in out of hours On-Call will require you to be in the general vicinity of the On Call area
