We are currently seeking a full time Practice and Quality Lead to join our Residential team in Rockhampton, Gladstone or Emerald.Our Practice and Quality Lead will provide direction for strong service delivery with regard to program development, enhancing case management practice, and ensuring practice aligns with contracts, accreditation, and continuous improvement. They will assist the coordinator in embedding and enhancing quality service delivery and supervision to staff.What will a typical day look like?
- Build and maintain close liaison with stakeholders such as participants and service providers to sustain effective and collaborative working relationships.
- Work with staff to gain and maintain a sound understanding of young people’s needs based on understanding trauma, grief and loss, attachment, and child development.
- Work collaboratively to contribute to the improvement of interventions in response to young people’s needs ensuring practice stems from a therapeutic framework of practice.
- Assist with the development of a strong and positive team environment to ensure excellent communication between team members.
- Advise and guide program staff to gain and maintain a sound understanding of the scope and outcomes anticipated for each service agreement.
- Contribute to the development of an organisational, integrated approach to service delivery based on the organisational Practice and Outcomes Frameworks and best practices including evidence-based models.
- Ensure that practices are compliant with organisational policies, procedures, and sector standards.
- Develop and implement a schedule of internal audits to support continuous improvement.
- Work with the Program Manager and Coordinator to ensure the development and execution of continuous improvement plans.
- Full COVID-19 Vaccination
- Diploma qualifications in Social Services/Child Protection or equivalent.
- Knowledge of and experience with Quality Assurance systems including Human Service Quality Framework.
- Experience in advising, coaching, and mentoring staff on Practice and compliance issues.
- Ability to obtain a Blue Card (working with children check positive notice or exemption)
- Ability to obtain a Yellow Card (disability services positive notice or exemption notice)
