About the Role
An exciting opportunity to become part of the dynamic Education Team, supporting the education and development of staff within Theatre. The primary role of the Practice Development Nurse (PDN) is to support clinical nurses through facilitation, collaboration and leadership to develop knowledge and skills required to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
This position will report directly to the Education Manager – Learning and Development.
The successful applicant will hold, or be able to obtain, a Police Check and employee Victorian Working with Children Check. There are mandatory vaccination requirements at WDHS - current immunisation records and evidence is required, including COVID and Booster requirements.

The successful candidate must have or obtain a National Criminal Police Check. Depending on the role, a Working with Children Check Clearance, Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme check, and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check may also be required. All employees must comply with WDHS vaccination requirements, including COVID and Booster shots. WDHS is a smoke-free workplace.
