Practice Manager

Are you a motivated Practice Manager seeking a new challenge in an highly regarded dental practice?

We are seeking a manager for our established 7-chair dental practice in South Yarra.  Our team of dentists and hygienists has developed an outstanding reputation for our providing quality oral healthcare to the community over many years.

Our ideal candidate has:

• A minimum of 3 years in the dental industry
• Reliability and commitment to their work
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• People management and leadership skills
• The ability to prioritise, multitask, and problem solve
• Great attention to detail
• A positive disposition and professional attitude with a natural ability to build rapport with staff and patients
• An understanding of compliance, legislative and employment industry requirements
• Experience with EXACT dental software (preferred but not essential)

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the day to day operations of the practice, ensuring consistently high standards of patient care and customer service are met
• Staff management
• Appointment book management
• Human resources including payroll and recruitment
• Staff rostering and training
• Stock management & dealing with dental company reps
• Financial management including control of payments, petty cash, debtors and book-keeping duties 
• Implementation and updating of standard operating procedures
• Implementing practice growth strategies
• Coordination of dental equipment and building maintenance
