Your role at St John of God Bunbury Hospital
The Practice Manager will primarily work with Dr Indunil Weerasena at Zest Oncology. You will be responsible for the efficient, effective and safe management and running of the practice and its finances, and ensuring the wellbeing of patients, doctors and staff,
The Position
Maintain Practice premises and equipment.
Maintain computer systems in conjunction with SJG Bunbury Hospital Information Technology Officer.
Resolve patient concerns.
Manage practice support staff and relationships with external stakeholders.
Bookkeeping, receipting, banking and account management, including patient accounts, payment reconciliation
Manage appointment diary for clinics.
Manage the intake and referral process of patients.
You will have an understanding of the importance of confidentiality and patient sensitivity attending the clinic; have knowledge of relevant legislation, Medicare and medical health fund billing requirements; and possess supervisory experience in a similar role within the medical industry and a broad understanding of the requirements of a small to medium business
To succeed you will have sound computer skills, experience with medical clinic software and database systems e.g. Genie and knowledge of medical terminology. In addition , you will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with high levels of attention to detail; excellent time management skills,and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

We can offer you
Salary: $73,804 to $79,469, plus 11% superannuation
A full-time fixed term position working 76 hours per fortnight
