We are a leading child, adolescent, and adult mental health practice in Brisbane, committed to providing tailored care and support to individuals and families experiencing mental health and complex neurodevelopmental challenges. Our multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, speech pathologists and counsellors work collaboratively to deliver comprehensive and holistic services tailored to each client's needs.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Practice Manager to join our team and play a key role in supporting the efficient operations and growth of our practice.
Role:
As the Practice Manager, you will be responsible for implementing all aspects of the practice's operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and efficient administrative functions. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Implementing and supervising day-to-day operations, including staff scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
- Implementing and maintaining policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Supervising administrative staff and providing leadership and support to foster a positive work environment.
- Collaborating in the development and monitoring budgets, financial reports, and performance metrics to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborating with healthcare providers to enhance clinical processes and improve patient experiences.
- Liaising with external stakeholders, such as vendors, insurers, and regulatory agencies, to facilitate smooth operations and compliance.

- Expected Annual Salary: $90000.00 - $100000.00 including superannuation.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role within a healthcare setting, preferably in mental health.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, and billing practices (Medicare, NDIS, WorkCover) in Australia.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and fostering a positive team culture.
- Demonstrate proficiency and/or ability to quickly acquire skills in practice management software (Xestro is preferable), Google Workspace, Slack and Tyro.
