Marsden Vet Surgery has an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Practice Manager (Qualified Vet Nurse) to join our pet loving team.
We are a small animal practice located in the suburb of Marsden, recently renovated showcasing a sparking new purpose built clinic. We are a two vet per day practice supported by a friendly and experienced nursing team, serving our loyal community of clients. We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager with a strong work ethic, who enjoys leading on customer experience, employee matters, administration and high standards of care.

About The Role
The success of the Practice Manager is driven by their ability to co-ordinate the business, people, operations and services of the clinic. The ideal candidate will thrive on managing a busy clinical setting which involves:
- Overseeing all operational and people matters within the clinic and is responsible for communications, procedures and business services.
- Leading on all employee matters including recruitment, workforce planning, health and wellbeing, recognition awards, people performance, training and development.
- Being highly engaged in customer experience and client loyalty activities, clinic service streams, marketing, digital services, social media, complaint resolution and compliments.
- Managing the financial performance of the clinic, stock control, procurement, accounts, budgets, payroll and profit and loss.
- Leading on work health and safety compliance, facilities and maintenance, assets and equipment as well as cleaning and presentation standards.
- Working closely with the Clinical Leaders to uphold industry standards and innovation, clinical governance and strategic direction and decisions of the clinic.
- Working closely with the Regional Manager to champion change, improve clinic performance, drive client engagement and create high performing service environments.
- Leading on company initiatives, projects and technology.
- Foster a wellness culture, communication strategy and clinical team development.
- Build strong relationships with our community, strategic partners and suppliers.
- Create a high performing team that love what they do.
About You
- Holds experience in a Practice Manager or second-in-charge head vet nurse position
- Minimum of 3 years vet nursing experience preferred
- Experience with practice management systems or appointment book management skills and are computer confident – we use EzyVet.
- Possess strong problem solving, decision making and organisational skills
- A genuine, warm and supportive style that enjoys caring for people who care for animals
