From humble beginnings 85 years ago as the Animal Welfare League, Lort Smith Animal Hospital continues a unique legacy of care and compassion for pets and people of all circumstances, treating over 20,000 animals every year. They have engaged GVC to help them find an experienced Practice Manager.
Practice Manager – Clinic & ICU
This newly created position reports directly to the Head Vet, this exciting new opportunity has
shared responsibility for the effective management and leadership of specific areas and for the
provision of services across Lort Smith. This role plays a critical part in building and sustaining a service that delivers high quality care, has a focus on innovation and service improvement, builds strong relationships with key stakeholders and has a client centric approach.
In conjunction with the Head Vets the Practice Manager will establish and maintain the organisational clinical structure of the departments.

• Practice Manager – Inpatients & Surgery
• Veterinary Director
• Head of Nursing Services
• Veterinarians (15 FTE Vets)
• Head of People, Culture & Community
• Head of Shared Services

Scope
Hours: Fulltime 76 hours per fortnight
Days of work: Tuesday to Saturday
Equivalent full-time employees: 15 FTE Vets
Salary
$100,000 - $115,000 + Super + benefits
