Forrest Road Medical Centre have an opportunity for a Practice Nurse to join our team. We are a small GP owned and managed practice in Padbury, running 3-4 doctors plus Allied Health. We are dedicated to providing quality medical care and have a highly supportive team of friendly staff.
The successful applicant will be required to work 2 days per week, Wednesday & Friday 8.00am – 4.30pm. The role would suit an experienced, friendly, dedicated Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse.
Qualifications & experience
Essential
- Previous General Practice nursing experience
- Full AHPRA Nursing Registration
- Current Accredited Immuniser certificate
- Up to date Police Clearance & Working with Children Clearance
- Excellent time management
- A friendly, positive, can-do attitude
- Experience in Care Planning, Chronic Disease Management and Health Assessments
Highly Regarded
- Knowledge of Best Practice Software
- Current CPR and CPD
- Experience with knowledge of a range of treatment room procedures
- Wound care and dressing skills
- Assisting doctors with minor procedures
- Patient Recalls and Reminders
- Cold Chain Management
