Practice Nurse

Practice Nurse Required - Hampton Medical Centre 

We are currently looking for a Registered Nurse or an Enrolled Nurse on a Part time basis at our Hampton Medical Centre, located in South Fremantle. 

Start Date: ASAP

Hours Required  - Additional hours at can be provided at another clinic

Mondays: 9am to 5pm

and

Tuesday: 9am to 5pm

The Role

• We are looking for a Nurse with long term goals working in a general practice with a passion for practice nursing.

• You are skilled at remaining calm in highly tense situations and have the ability to resolve matters pragmatically.

Our practice provides a friendly, flexible work environment with ongoing training support and opportunity for career development. The patients are loyal, friendly and have been coming to the clinic for many years. 

You are required to provide quality care to a diverse mix of patients through;

General Practice 

• Chronic Disease Management including Care Plans & Health Assessments
• Immunisations &  Vaccinations
• ECG's & Spirometry
• Wound care/dressing
• Daily co-ordination of the treatment room, stock control and medical equipment maintenance
• Implementing and practicing infection control
• Identifying & contributing to the development of our patient educational needs.

Essential Criteria:

• Current unrestricted Nurses Registration with AHPRA
• Current CPR certification
• Experience as a Practice Nurse or a similar role 
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
• Proficiency with IT systems & their use
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Caring & collaborative approach to patient care
• Proven multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills.
