SalaryClarkson Urgent Care Clinic (UCC) are seeking a nurse with experience in ED or Urgent Care environment to join our team.
As an Urgent Care nurse you will work closely with the reception and medical teams to triage and provide care patients at our walk in clinic.
Essential Criteria:
- AHPRA Division 1 Nurse
- Minimal 2 years clinical experience in an acute care role desirable.
- Hold a current CPR certificate (ALS preferred but not essential)
- Available and flexible to work across 7 days of the week. Clinic opening hours 8am - 8pm.
- Available for a minimum of 15 hours per week. (Contract hours negotiable for successful applicants)
- Able to take initiative to ensure smooth running of clinical and waiting rooms
- Must have excellent communication and computer skills. Would be an advantage if you are familiar with Best Practice.
Tasks and responsibilities: (including, but not limited to)
- Triage assessment
- ECG
- Wound care
- Casting and suturing
- IV access and administration of medications
- Catheter care
