Practice Nurse

We have a vacancy Full time / Part time / Casual for a dedicated Registered Nurse at our Practice in Barton ACT for an immediate start. 

Barton General Practice

Essential Criteria:

• Must have current unconditional registration with AHPRA
• Demonstrate outstanding work ethic, organisational and time management skills

Experience in the below areas an advantage but not essential:

• Wound management
• Assisting Doctors for procedures & set up
• Immunisations – knowledge of childhood immunisations
• Health Assessments
• GPMP & TCA Plans (Chronic Disease Management)
• DVA/CVC Programs
• We work with Best Practice software
• Iron Infusions
• Venesection
• Audiology
• ECG
• Spirometry
• Ear syringing
• Sterilisation
• Assisting the doctors with Drivers Licence Medicals, Aviation Medicals, Employment Medicals
• Occasional Home Visits for wound care
• Clinical Stock Ordering
