Practice Nurse Bayside

We are a vibrant friendly Medical Centre who has been an established service provider for over 50 years.

Our clinic brings together a wide range of medical and support services to enhance quality medical practice including large treatment room facilities, nurse office and on site Melbourne Pathology.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Division 1 or Division 2 (Endorsed) nurse to join our supportive nursing and medical teams.

This is a permanent part time position three days per week working Monday from 8.00am to 4.30pm, Wednesday and Friday from 9.00am to 5.30pm.

A minimum of 2 years General Practice is essential.  We offer opportunities for further advancement, development and remuneration in accordance with experience and qualification.

Principle duties include:

Immunisations & Travel Medicine/Vaccination

Wound Management

Assisting with minor procedures

Triage

Health Assessments

Chronic Disease Management

Providing additional support to administration and medical team

Essential Criteria:

General Practice experience

Current AHPRA Registration

Current Police and Working with Children's Check

Excellent communication and people skills

Experience with computers – Medical Director/Pracsoft

The ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
