We are seeking a Division 1 Registered Nurse (RN) to join our wonderful team, in a part time position, with availability to cover leave as required. The successful applicant ideally has experience in GENERAL PRACTICE nursing but this is not essential.
The hourly rate will be commensurate with experience in the GENERAL PRACTICE setting and nursing qualification.
We have an excellent work environment with a positive and professional team who are very focused on delivering a high standard of primary care to our patients.
We require the applicant to have excellent communication skills, be enthusiastic and hard working and have the ability to work within our dynamic multidisciplinary team, being well supported by our GP's and experienced PRACTICE NURSEs.
Essential criteria:
- Current registration as per AHPRA requirements
- CPR certification
Desirable criteria:
- General Practice nursing experience
- Nurse immunisation course
- Experience with Best Practice software
Job tasks and responsibilities:
The role will include (but is not limited to):
- Assisting GP's with minor procedures
- Childhood and adult immunisation, travel vaccinations
- Wound care and stock control
- Health assessments
- Chronic Disease Management
